Brothers Pizza in Altoona

I haven't been to the Pleasant Valley Blvd Brother's, but figured that since it is a franchise, it would be similar to Bellwood's Brothers. Nope.I ordered a family size stromboli, there was a single slice of ham, one after another, so maybe 4 or 5 pieces of ham in total and observed up to 10 pepperoni slices. This definitely was not worth $22.50 in my opinion. The only reason I gave 2 stars, is because it had a fair amount of cheese. I don't know if I'm being too picky, but definitely didn't meet expectations.

Very slow, CS not the greatest. Was told my order would be done in 45mins. Went to the shop an hour later.Food was not done, waited another 35mins for my pizza. Ordered delivery couple weeks prior and same deal. SLOW!!!! delivery took over 1hr 45mins. Pizza was cold when I recieved it. Driver complained and winded about a bad back.

Good pizza with great specials. I've been com I'll ng to brothers for years. I usually get whatever is on they are they have on special at the time and I've never been disappointed. Not a high class pizza joint, but a great place for a quick lunch. The wait staff is always friendly.

I waited a hour and a half for my pizza to be delivered only to find that it was not sliced, so being a college student without a pizzacutter, I had to use a plastic knife. Plastic knives do not work to cut pizza. Please consider purchasing a pizzacutter before ordering so you won’t open a box to find a perfectly round, greasy pie full of tomato sauce, spices, and cheese, and not be able to eat it right away because you have to find a plastic knife and cut it yourself. However, I must admit that this pizza did in fact cure my late night munchies.

Perfect Stromboli

Ordered a stuffed pizza with extra sauce and cheese and got charged for extra sauce and cheese. What we got was a stuffed pizza with barely any sauce or cheese, skimpy toppings and weak canned mushrooms. The crust was par.

A preferred place for pizza. This location is one of my favorites. The staff was very sociable and kind. This place has a nice feel to it. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.

I went in for an order to pick up. I called in and had a 15 minute drive there. I sat there another 40 minutes waiting for my food. They told me over the phone one price and charged me more when I got there. The one girl behind the counter was giving the new guy hell for a minor issue. It was a very uncomfortable scene for the new employee and also for me to witness. Got home with the food, which I literally only live a block away, it was luke warm and not that good of food. Will not go back there. My girlfriend's food was not that good either. Her Italian sub didn't even come with any dressing. Save your time and money. I must say I feel for that new employee and how he was treated. You should not embarrass someone like that!!!

My favorite place I've been eating there since they were in the station mall years ago. The only bad thing I would say is they need better deserts such as cheesecake bites yum. Other then that best cheesesteaks ever and they always get my delivery order perfect

I would give them a negative review if it was possible. They took very long to deliver, ruined my food, and when it came time to fixing their mistake, it took atleast an hour for me to get my food. I do not recommend them.

Crummy floors, annoying staff, slow service...Not only that, they argued about my order in front of me... Tried to act like what I said mixed them up... I said I'll have two slices and the lady turns around and yells to kitchen "two more" and here I wanted a different crust...so she tried to blame me for telling the kitchen crew the wrong orders. Not coming back!!!!!

I usually love this place. Favorite steak hoagie. Tonight pizza and sub over cooked Whoever was the cook tonight needs to be trained better

Good wings, good pizza, fair price

I never had this problem before. I called at 5:35 pm never got my order TILL 7:30. the worst part my food was cold, wasnt even warm. I know its cold out but dont live that far away. It will be a while before I order from you again. Really .

Best place in town for pizza and hot subs.

This place has fantastic pizza. The only other place that compares is Italian Village Pizza and you have to drive to Gallitzin or Ebensburg to get that.They use more cheese here than other places which can be great if you're the type of person who has ever ordered extra cheese on anything. It's a little overpriced and it's fairly inconsistent. If you glance at the other reviews there are a lot of 5s and a lot of 1s. Strombolis vary greatly in size and quality and pizzas vary in quality. Don't get me wrong - even at their worst they're still better than 80% of all the other pizza places. Order here enough times and they will blow your mind - just don't expect them to do the same the next time.

Pizza was so salty.. otherwise I liked the crust on it.. cheese was OK.. Between this or Domino's , I'd go with the latter.. but I would def come back to try other items.

My favorite pizza (shop) in Altoona. Also the best strombolis. Baked Italian sub is really good too. I've loved Brother's since they were at the Station Mall, always had good food & good service and fair prices.

We came in from Oregon this week and immediately looked for the best pizza in Altoona. Google reviews led me to this place and we were not disappointed! we got a half meat lover and half vegie. You can tell these guys are proud of their food they make just by how great it is with every bite. I felt like a regular the second I walked through the door. Great food, great atmosphere, great people!

Staff are cool and the food is the best .....prices cant be beaten for the amount given.....
